Drako Engineering strives to help our clients solve large hardware problems by putting together small pieces to form a solution. Drako provides assistance in the following areas:
Hardware System Integration
Drako views system integration as the translation of a customer’s need into a physical product that will either meet or exceed that need. Drako’s support can range from assisting a client with the location and acquisition of a commercially available product to meet their needs to the compilation of customer requirements into a hardware design and development specification for custom hardware fabrication and determination of requirement verification methods.
Manufacturing Planning
Drako can help coordinate production activities with outside manufacturers so as to meet design requirements within a customer’s budget and schedule. Drako takes the customer’s design package and then develops a production schedule based on a hardware-need basis. This allows for the individual components to be completed at the time necessary for integration into the larger assembly.
Test Planning
All hardware systems - no matter how small - require a level of testing to ensure they operate as designed. Drako can assist their customers with the development of cost effective test objectives, test plans, test procedures, and test reports to show verification of the applicable design requirements.
Mechanical Design and Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Drako takes the customer’s design requirements and generates a mechanical hardware design solution to meet these requirements. The design drawing package provided by Drako Engineering utilizes 3-Dimensional (3D) CAD models generated with Solid Edge design software.
Commercial Plumbing and Drainage Systems
As a professional engineering firm, Drako supports the commercial construction industry with the specification of drainage system components (i.e. grease traps) for industrial kitchen applications. Drako supplies an engineering report complete with sizing calculations to specify component sizes necessary to meet drainage requirements according to applicable building codes.
